Donations of Recordings to the Judaica Sound Archives
You may be surprised to learn that the Judaica Sound Archives at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Libraries has no money in its budget to buy recordings. Every recording has been donated to us by institutions and individuals who want to contribute to this outstanding effort to create a comprehensive archive of Judaica music.
The JSA will accept any recording of Jewish music. The JSA collects recordings that reflect Jewish culture including: klezmer, cantorial, comedy, theater, Chassidic, Israeli, Sephardic, and songs for children. |

The JSA accepts recordings of Jewish music and humor in any language.
The JSA accepts recordings of music by Jewish performers, composers and conductors, even if the content is NOT Jewish.
The JSA accepts recordings even if we already have a copy in the collection. Multiple copies allow us to find the best quality and least worn recordings for digitization.
