This album, the first of two, pays tribute to a rich musical heritage that spans three and a half centuries. It includes some of the best remembered songs of the Yiddish theater like Lebn Zoi Columbus, Abi Gezint, Sheyn Vi Di Levoneh and the hauntingly beautiful lullaby Rosenkes Mit Mandlien. Hebrew songs like Shiroh are also included in this album.
