Gladys Gewirtz attended Julliard and The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS). She graduated from Columbia University. She was also Music Director for the first Camp Ramah of the JTS. Gladys Gewirtz and her sister, Roz Grossman, were pioneers in the field of Jewish children’s music creating a unique series of recordings which are as fresh and entertaining today as they were 50 years ago.
