Cantor Samuel B. Taube, a concentration camp survivor, credits his survival to his daily singing of leider and operatic arias in several languages, which so pleased and charmed his captors that they spared his life. Included in this album of Cantorial favorites is "Ani Amin", a testament to the Jews' faith in the coming of the Messiah, and "Kiddush L'Shabbos", the blessings at the start of the Sabbath.
