Cantor David Werdyger founded Aderet Records shortly after he arrived in the United States in 1950. This online collection includes 20 recordings by Cantor David Werdyger, 21 recordings by other performers and 19 recordings which were originally released on the Menorah label and later acquired by Aderet.
Today his son, Cantor Mendel (Mendy) Werdyger, owns and operates Aderet Records as well as its retail outlet, MostlyMusic.com.
Aderet recordings celebrate Werdyger’s Chassidic roots, specializing in lively niggunim, Chassidic dances, and zemirot.
